The annual Knights of Columbus Council 8172 youth free throw contest is Saturday, Jan. 14, at 9 a.m., at the St. Thomas Aquinas Uhen Center gym, 302 S. Second St., Waterford.
All Waterford area boys and girls ages 10 to 14 are encouraged to compete. Shooters will compete in their respective age divisions. Winners will progress to the district competition. All local contestants will be recognized for their participation.
Registration is in the Uhen Center immediately before the event. All must complete an entry form, signed by a parent or guardian giving consent to participate. Proof of age is required.
High school athletes should check with their school athletic directors or state high school athletic associations regarding eligibility conflicts.
