No open burning in village

The Village of Waterford Fire Chief, Rick Huening, has issued an immediate ban on open burning in the Village of Waterford.
Due to extremely dry conditions in the Waterford area, Huening is placing a ban on all open burning until further notice. The ban will remain in effect until a significant amount of rain has fallen to reduce the hazardous conditions.
