Village modifies sprinkling ban, new pump up and running

The Village of Waterford completed the new well pump installation Monday, July 2. All four wells are now providing water to the community. Due to high water demand and forecasted dry conditions, the conservation of outdoor water continues to be necessary.
The village is modifying the ban on outdoor water use. Even numbered addresses may sprinkle on even days between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Odd numbered addresses may sprinkle on odd days between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sprinkling may only occur on designated days.
Residents and businesses are requested to conserve water outdoors wherever possible. The modified ban is effective immediately.
