Absolutely Waterford, the village’s Main Street Program, is seeking input in planning for an economically vibrant future for the Downtown Heritage District and throughout the entire community.
“We recognize that businesses occupying downtown storefronts have changed over the years,” said Tina Chitwood, who oversees the non-profit group’s economic restructuring committee.
“We also know the regional market competition has intensified.
“Still, there remain opportunities to improve our Downtown Heritage District to support local businesses and contribute to the quality of life for our residents as well as provide activities for our visitors.”
In order to guide future downtown development, the economic restructuring committee has created a short survey for residents, visitors, property and business owners to complete.
All responses are anonymous and will be analyzed, then used for developing strategies and action steps. Surveys must be completed no later than Sunday, April 7.
“We hope you are interested in sharing your opinion as it is important to us and will guide our future activities,” Chitwood said.
