Racine County Sheriff’s officials have identified the man who died in an early Sunday morning motorcycle crash as Gregory A. Treffinger, 29, of Waterford.
According to officials, Treffinger was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing his motorcycle in the 37000 block of Hill Valley Road in the Town of Waterford.
A passerby came upon the crash scene and called 911 at 2:42 a.m. Responding deputies and rescue personnel attempted lifesaving efforts, but were unsuccessful.
Treffinger was not wearing a helmet, according to officials.
