Douglas Johnson, 85, beloved husband, father, and grandfather died in Burlington on Jan. 25, 2015.
He had been a long time teacher in Antioch and with his late wife, Phyllis, had resided in Arlington Heights for many years before moving to Burlington.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela (James) Trowbridge; sons, Craig Johnson, and David (Stephanie) Johnson; longtime companion, Judy Edwards; grandsons, William Johnson, Jon (Erin) Trowbridge; granddaughter, Jenny Trowbridge; great-grandsons, Aidan Trowbridge and Brennan Trowbridge.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Douglas’s name to the Burlington Public Library.
Medical College of Wisconsin served the family.
