Philip A. Grueter, 90, died peacefully Oct. 21, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine Grueter.
He was a longtime iron worker with Local #8. He will be fondly remembered by his Union brothers for his sense of humor. He loved nature and bird watching and will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his children, Joyce Riter, Janet, Linda, Karen and Philip Grueter; siblings, Roman (Marie) Grueter, Marietta Grueter and Grace Lohaus.
He was further preceded in death by siblings, Celia (Hank) Stevens, Edward (Frances) Grueter, Frederick Grueter, Julia (Lawrence) Luzinski, William (Luetta) Grueter, John (Margaret) Grueter; brother-in-law, Paul Lohaus; nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.
Services were held Oct. 25. Entombment was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Menomonee Falls. Krause Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Milwaukee, assisted the family.
