ROSEMARY LARGE

Rosemary Large, 62, Lyons, died Oct. 18, 2011, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. She was born July 7, 1949, in North Arlington, N.J., to the late Charles and Marjorie (Siess) Wilcox. She spent her early life in Newark, N.J., before moving to Burlington, where she had been a resident for the past 51 years. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Gateway Technical College.

On Oct. 12, 1968, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Burlington, she married Gary Large.

She was a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital of Burlington and belonged to the Burlington Area Car Club. She enjoyed crocheting, researching genealogy as well as other things on the Internet and was part of a support group for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. Most of all she loved spending time with her family as well as spending time in Arizona.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Karen (Stephen) Zieman, Kenosha; grandson, Connor Zieman; siblings, Ellen (Doug) Miller, Kathleen (Ned) Chiariello, Robert (Gianna Brady) Wilcox; brother-in-law, William (Marcia) Large; sister-in-law, Diane Large; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Henrietta Large, and brother-in-law, David Large.

Private family services will be held at a later date. The family has requested no floral tributes, and extends a special thank you to the staff at Memorial Hospital of Burlington, especially the staff in the ICU, for all their care and compassion. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is assisting the family.
