Adeline M. Thiessen, 89, Union Grove died July 19, 2012, at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. She was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Milwaukee to the late George and Odell Olson.
She grew up and gradated high school in Milwaukee. During World War II she worked in a factory supporting our troops. Following marriage to Thomas Thiessen, they made their home in Greendale and Raymond before moving to Union Grove in 1980. While living in Raymond she was employed at the C & D Duck farm in Yorkville.
Survivors include her children, Tom, Wind Lake, Tim (Connie), Panama City, Fla., Candace Hanson, Union Grove; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Marie of Milwaukee; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was further preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Sr., and son Henry.
Per Adeline’s wishes a private burial service was held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Raymond. Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Union Grove, assisted the family.
