Anita A. Wolski, 91, Waterford, died July 6, 2012, due to an automobile accident on July 5. She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 1, 1921, to the late Herbert C. and Henrietta (Tellier) Degner. She spent her early life on the family farm in Muskego.
On April 16, 1966, she married Norbert E. Wolski who preceded her in death on April 9, 2005. She owned and operated grocery stores in Tess Corners and Rochester. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burlington. She enjoyed spending time with the Waterford seniors and taking time for her garden.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Tracy) Warick, Suzanne (Bob) Barbian, Deborah (Tom Roanhouse) Barry; grandchildren, Kris, Lori, Jenni and Brian; six great-grandchildren; sister, Doris (Ray) Crain; brother, Eugene (Shirley) Degner; sister-in-law, Helen Degner; brother-in-law, Fred Becker; other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Gary; son-in-law, Jim Barry; great-grandson, Dalton; brother, Herbert; and sister, Betty.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 10, from 10-11:45 a.m., with services at noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 198 Westridge Ave., Burlington. Private family burial will take place at St. Thomas Cemetery, Waterford. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorials to the Waterford seniors.
