Anita H. Vorpagel, 85, Springfield, Wis., died Nov. 13, 2012, at the Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home, Lake Geneva. She was born July 26, 1927, in Detroit, to the late Fred and Louise Schindel Neiman.
She married Lyle Vorpagel March 12, 1949, in Lake Geneva. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Corrinne (Steve) Boelter, Texas, and Janet (Greg) Kraft, Elkhorn; son, Bruce (Margaret) Vorpagel, Cottage Grove, St. Paul, Minn.; 13 grandchildren.
She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Marie; one sister and three brothers;
Funeral services were Nov. 17, at Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Bolling officiating. Burial was in Hudson Cemetery, Lyons. Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, assisted the family.
