Bernice H. Clark, 95, Waterford, died Dec. 22, 2012, at Linden Grove-Mukwonago. She was born April 14, 1917, in Burlington, to the late August John and Fern Ethel (Welch) Huening. She graduated from Waterford High School and was the first woman supervisor for the Town of Waterford.
She loved her family, and was a 70-plus-year member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Big Bend where she spent a lot of time with bingo, Fun Fest and other charitable giving events.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith (Dennis) Lindhorst, Deborah (Eugene) Gracey; daughters-in-law, Lois Clark, Catherine Clark; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and great friends.
She was further preceded in death by her husband, James H. in 1989 and a son, James A.; and sisters, Marie Huening Lumley and Kathyrn Scheele.
Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 27, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Parish, S89 W22650, Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend. The Rev. Dick Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Caldwell Cemetery, Waterford. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.
