Brett A. Reed, 40, began his journey home on Nov. 19, 2012. He was the adoring husband of Beth (nee Stowell) for 11 years. Brett was also loved by his Goldendoodle, Mabel, other relatives, and friends.
Brett was a passionate Huskers fan, loved traveling, weightlifting, and working with his colleagues at Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee and around the country.
Visitation at the funeral home is Saturday, Nov. 24, from 2-5 p.m. Additional visitation is Sunday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. A celebration of Brett’s life is 10:30 a.m. Burial in English Settlement Cemetery near Burlington, to follow. In honor of Brett’s loyalty to the Huskers, please wear red to the services. Krause Funeral Home, New Berlin, is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial site will be created at the Liddy Shriver Initiative (www.sarcomahelp.org).
