Donald J. Luedtke, 78, Union Grove, died Nov. 21, 2012, at Kindred Care Center in Burlington. He was born March 7, 1934, to the late Herman and Johanna (Kokke) Luedtke in Racine.
He married the love of his life, Jacqueline Hosking, on Jan. 11, 1969, at St. Robert’s Church in Union Grove. They were lifelong members of St. Robert’s Parish.
He was the Farm Manager at Maple Leaf Duck Farm for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Lions Club and for more than 25 years and was a member of the Modern Woodman Club. He was an avid Brett Favre fan and enjoyed working word-find books.
Survivors include his wife; siblings and in-laws, Ruby Luedtke, Richard (Sandy) Luedtke, Lucille Frederick, Rollie Benzow, Kathleen (Jack) Trautman, Paul (Maria) Luedtke, Henry (Jane) Luedtke, Linda Smith, Kurt (Janice) Luedtke, Marleen (Rudy Dichtl) Blaney, Walter (Jamie) Luedtke, Ruthann (Jim) Rehberg, and Robert (Chris) Luedtke; and many nieces and nephews.
He was further preceded in death by his siblings, Herman Luedtke, Nancy Benzow, Joanne Luedtke.
Visitation and memorial services were Nov. 24, at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home, Union Grove. Burial was in West Lawn Memorial Park.
