Evelyn R. Mueller, 91, Burlington, died March 20, 2012, at the Waterford Care Center. She was born on April 16, 1920, in Milwaukee, to the late Ervin and Ann (Schoense) Ern. She spent her early life and received her education in Milwaukee, graduating in 1937.
She married Ronald S. Mueller in June of 1945. Following marriage they resided in Milwaukee before making their home in Burlington in 1962. He preceded her in death in December of 1981.
Together, they owned and operated the Colonial Club on Browns Lake. In her early years she worked as a school bus driver for the city of Milwaukee. Following Ronald’s death, she continued to explore the United States, by driving her own car she especially loved touring California and Florida.
Survivors include her sons, James Mueller, Mountain View, Calif., and Richard (Pam) Mueller, Waterford; grandson, Joel (Carrie) Mueller, Waterford; and granddaughter, Jennifer Mueller, Waterford along with her daughter, Kiara B. Watson; her sister, Ruth.
She was further preceded in death by her sister, Doris Tomrell; niece, Judy Koch; and nephew, Jack Clark.
Visitation is Friday, March 23, from 6:30 p.m. until time of services at 7:30 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. The Rev. Daniel Vojta officiated.
