Gerald H. Block, 82, Lake Geneva, died Nov. 8, 2012, at the Arbor Village of Geneva, Lake Geneva. He was born Aug. 9, 1930, in Milwaukee, to the late Edwin H. and Margaret Zigenhagen Block.
He married Beatrice Joy Bloedel Aug. 11, 1951, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Allis. He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, the Silver Eagles RC Flying Club in Springfield, Wis., and was in the Air Force National Guards.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Sandra (Steven) Clark, Burlington; son, Stephen (Cynthia) Block, Darien; grandchildren, Jeremiah, and Sarah Fintrop, Gregory Clark, and Ashley Glald; and three great-grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Kenneth Block.
Funeral services were Nov. 13, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Kaesmeyer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Steinke Funeral Home assisted the family.
