Janet L. Hess, 43, Town of Vernon, died Oct. 23, 2012, surrounded by her family at AngelsGrace Hospice. She was born in Erie, Pa., on Jan. 13, 1969, the only child of Patrick and Rosemary (Bulanda) Brady.
On Oct. 6, 2001, she married Joseph Hess in Waukesha.
She received her bachelor’s degree in education from UW-Whitewater and her master’s degree from Carroll University. She was a devoted teacher to her students and worked for the Waterford School District for 19 years. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and inspired devotion toward her lifelong and new friends. She loved life, her husband, her daughter, her family and her community and will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Joe of the Town of Vernon, their four-year-old daughter, Lila, as well as by her parents of Menomonee Falls. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and numerous friends.
Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 25, from 5-8 p.m., at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation continues Friday, Oct. 26, at Fox River Christian Church, S46 W24130 Lawnsdale Road, Waukesha, (corner of Hwy. 164 and Lawnsdale Road) from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service. The Rev. Rob Warnell will officiate. Graveside services will immediately follow at Vernon Center Cemetery.
