Kristopher C. Jensen, 51, Jarrell, Texas, died Feb. 20, 2012. He was born on a military base in Bremerton, Washington on May 27, 1960, to the late Charles and Sherri (Voorhies) Jensen.
He proudly served his country for 18 years, four years enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1980, and 14 years in the U.S. Army from 1981-1996 where he served in Saudi Arabia. He was honorably discharged in 1996.
On Oct. 10, 1999, he married Theresa Ludwig.
Survivors include his wife, Jarrell Texas; his parents; brothers, Charles, John and Rudolph; daughter, Kristina Blanchfield, Washington; son, Kristopher Lee Jensen, Texas; stepsons, David Hall, Bernie (Marsha) Hall Jr., and Robert Richter, Germany; grandchildren, Maddallyn and Mathew Hall; mother-in-Law, Donna Ludwig, Waterford; brothers-in-law, Robert (Linda) Ludwig, Tennessee, Ronald (Eileen) Ludwig, Waterford; sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Gary) Biermann, Franksville, Nita (Jeff) Gettys, California, and Diane Ludwig, Rochester.
He was further preceded in death by his father-in-law, Otto Ludwig, and brother-in-law, Tom Ludwig.
Visitation is Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10-11:15 a.m., with services at 11:30 a.m., at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W. Main St., Waterford. The Rev. Kim Studwell will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials to Theresa Jensen are suggested.
