Mark S. Hawley, 55, Burlington, died at his home on Oct. 24, 2012. He was born Aug. 23, 1957, in Milwaukee, to the late Albert and Delores (Price) Hawley. He spent his early life and received his education in Milwaukee.
On June 26, 1993, in Burlington, he married Susan Schmelzer. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington.
He worked for Lavelle Industries in Burlington. His interests included riding his Harley Davidson and making friends. Mark loved working on the computer, teaching himself desktop publishing as well as working with Photoshop. Most of all Mark loved his family and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; children, Luke and Ivy Hawley; brothers, Owen and Marlene Hawley, John Hawley and Bruce Hawley Sr. Mark is further survived by Dawn, Chris and Julie Hawley as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was further preceded in death by his brothers, Ken Krieger and Albert and Jean Hawley Jr. and by a sister, Penny Hawley.
A memorial service is Monday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with Chaplain Larry Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Monday, from 3-7 p.m. Private inurnment will be in Burlington Cemetery.
