Susan M. Boss, 57, Burlington, died Dec. 5, 2012, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. She was born Sept. 1, 1955, in Burlington, to the late Harmon and Mary (Turner) Miles. She spent her early life and received her education in Lyons and Burlington.
On May 11, 2004, in Las Vegas, she married Howard Boss. Together they made their home in Burlington. She was a homemaker and loved caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, Liliana. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband; children, Christina (Devin Schoonover) Miles of Burlington, and Joseph (Jessica) Flores of Kenosha; stepsons, William Boss, Michael (fiancée Jen) Boss and Matthew (Beth) Boss, all of Kenosha; grandchildren, Amanda Miles, Samantha Emanuel) Rodriguez, Jazmin Flores, Deja Flores, Majestic Flores, Johnny Boss, Zane Boss, Michael Boss Jr. and Hailey Boss; great-granddaughter, Liliana Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Barbara Boss of Beach Park, Ill.; siblings, Darlene (Ted) Hrabak of Florida, Larry (Pat) Miles of Burlington, and Catherine (Larry) Lhotka, of Rochester; brothers-in-law, Robert Turley and Edward Turley; sisters-in-law, Catherine Turley, Mary Boss and Terri Boss; nieces; nephews; other relatives; friends and her faithful companion, Bruizer.
She was further preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Miles, and an infant brother and sister.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2-4 p.m. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
