Birthe Tylla, 68, Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly Burlington, died Aug. 16, 2013, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 7, 1944, in Aarhus, Denmark. She was of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker. She loved to spend time with her family and pets, traveling with her husband, sewing, arts and crafts and watching hummingbirds in her back yard.
In June 1966, she married Jerome Tylla in Racine.
Survivors include her husband; children, Noel Tylla, Milwaukee, Brent Tylla, Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ester Jorgensen; father and stepmother, Holger and Alice Jorgensen; brother, Egor Jorgensen.
Visitation is Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 6-8 p.m., at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Mo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Mathai officiating.

We will be having a memorial in Burlington for her sometime hopefully end of September, early October.
Kevin just informed me of Birthe’s passing. I hope you are well. My husband and I have been living in Lake Ozark for 9 years. Again, I sure am sorry about Birthe. Such a nice lady. Hope kids are well.
