Clifford I. Garski, 88, Sturtevant, died Aug. 24, 2013, at St. Monica’s Senior Citizens Home. He was born July 25, 1925, to the late Ferdinand and Mayme (nee Crabb) in Racine. His early life was spent in Racine where he attended Horlick High School. He served as a surgical tech in the U.S. Army.
He married the late Stella Kominiak July 1, 1974. Following marriage they resided in Sturtevant. He was retired from American Motors. He was a member of the Burlington Liars Club and UAW #72. He was an avid Packer fan and loved watching their games. Clifford also enjoyed working in his yard.
Survivors include his children, Karen (Guy) Wilson, Jerry (Lucy) Garski, Mary Ann (George) Engelhardt; grandchildren, Tom LaFaille, Jacqueline Engelhardt, Isabelle Johnson; and great–grandson, Kyle LaFaille.
He was further preceded in death by his son, Antone Irwin Garski, and stepson Robert Banks.
Clifford’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to St. Monica’s nurses and staff, and his special friend Jolene, from Dr. Shah’s office, for all their care and compassion.
A burial service is Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m., at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
