Daniel Jerome Krahn, Madison, died Nov. 14, 2013, in Branson, Mo. He was born Oct. 1, 1956, to Jerome Krahn and Patricia McDaniel in West Allis.
He spent his early life in Wind Lake, graduating from Muskego High School in 1970. In February of 1982 he married the love of his life Cheryl (Smiley) Krahn, in Adams Friendship. They lived 18 years in Wisconsin Dells, before moving to Madison two years ago.
In his youth he enjoyed training and competing with field trail hunting dogs. He was a member of the Phantom Riders M.C., and enjoyed hunting, bowling, horseshoes, and playing with his grandchildren. He also loved boating on the river with his brother and family, riding his Harley and watching the Packer games with his family.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Steve, Ryan and Joseph; daughter, Dana; grandchildren, Lily, Tianna and Malia; his mother, Patricia McDaniel; sisters, Diane and Geraldine; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Aunt Lorraine Hill; and brother, James.
A memorial service was Nov. 19, at Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
