Elaine D. Kerkman, 77, died peacefully on Oct. 30, 2013, at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha.
She was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Burlington, to the late Gilbert J. and Armella R. (Busch) Kerkman.
She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha County and had lived at Brookside Care Center for the past 28 years. She worked at the Kenosha County Achievement Center and enjoyed participating in the Nursing Home Olympics. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster.
Survivors include her siblings, Ella Mae (Butler) Dorn, Burlington, Walter (Kay) Kerkman, Burlington, Shirley (Glenn) Borst, Pell Lake, Norman (Mary) Kerkman, Burlington; aunts, Rose Kerkman, Rosemary Busch, Ruth Busch and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was further preceded in death by brothers, Walter W. Kerkman and Gerald Kerkman.
Memorials may go to St. Alphonsus Church.
Per Elaine’s request, private services will be held.
