FRANCES E. PASHELK

Frances E. Pashelk, 85, Waterford, died Feb. 7, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Burlington. She was born in Glendive, Montana, and graduated high school in Milwaukee. On Jan. 18, 1947, she married Thomas L. Pashelk. The couple moved from Milwaukee to the Tichigan Lake area and lived on Elm Island for 46 years. Frances was a homemaker all of her life and loved to cook and spend time tending her flowers and garden.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Bill) Hodge, Harvard, Ill., Mike Pashelk, Minneapolis, Tim Pashelk and Carl Pashelk, both of Salem; grandchildren, Billy (Angie) Hodge, Melissa (Eric) Nead, Tom Pashelk and Pauline Pashelk; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Katie, Parker and Owen; brothers, Jimmy and Ben; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and her parents.
Services were Feb. 9, at Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford. The Rev. John Mundt officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
