Harriett C. Kelly, 95, Lyons, died Oct. 5, 2013, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. She was born March 1, 1918, to the late Ralph and Magdalyn (Denler) Barker in Yankton S.D. In 1927 her family moved to a farm near Troy Center. She attended Quarterline grade school and graduated from East Troy High.
In 1964 she married the late Harold Kelly. Following marriage they moved and settled down in Lyons. She was employed by JC Penny for 28 years, where she worked as a buyer and headed three other departments. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
Survivors include her son, Richard; daughter-in-law, Audrey Bourne; grandsons, Nicholas and Austin.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Robert, and brother, Brent.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, East Troy. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
