Jean Rita Marcinkowski, 65, Waterford, died Feb. 3, 2013, at her home with her husband at her side. She was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Burlington, to the late Paul and Mary (Lohaus) Ehlen. She spent her early life in Lyons and was a graduate of Burlington High School.
On Nov. 8, 1969, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lyons, she married Mark R. Marcinkowski. Following marriage they made their home in Waterford Township.
She worked for Aurora Health Care as an account specialist and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Waterford. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking, cooking, fishing and reading. She enjoyed rummage sales and going to auctions, as well as being outdoors. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; children, Jill (Brent) French, Steve (Lisa) Marcinkowski; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brian and Caden French and Connor and Gavin Marcinkowski; five brothers; five sisters; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 7 from 5-8 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Funeral services are Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The Rev. Gene Doda will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
