JOYCE M. LAUBER

Joyce M. Lauber, 86, Yorkville, died April 6, 2013, at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. She was born Nov. 15, 1926, to the late Edward and Amy (Schreiber) Neterval in Racine. She was a graduate of Union Grove High School.

On Sept. 7, 1946, she married the late Norman Lauber at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Raymond. Following marriage they lived and worked on the family dairy farm in Yorkville.

She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

Survivors include her children, Jane (Henry) Luedtke, Union Grove, Beth (Michael) Elyard, Clarksburg, W.V., Thomas (Jackie) Lauber, Union Grove, Dennis (Penny) Lauber, Franklin, John (Joan) Lauber, Franklin, Mark (Julie) Lauber, Union Grove, Charles (Jill) Lauber, Franklin, Tenn., and Scott Lauber, Union Grove; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean (Lee) Everton, and sisters-in-law, Mary Neterval, Dorothy Frahm, Lorraine Schrubbe and Carol Harcus.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Richard Neterval.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 10, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home, 908 11th Ave., Union Grove, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services are Thursday, April 11, at 11 a.m., at church. The Rev David Peters will officiate. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.

The family has suggested memorials be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or to A.N.G.E.L. (an organization for Autism).
