Judith Schipper, 74, died after a brief illness on July 31, 2013, at UW Madison Hospital. She was born July 11, 1939, in Manitowoc, to the late Lawrence and Vera Lyons.
She retired from Aurora Health Systems in 2008. She enjoyed gardening, travel, cooking, and writing, but most of all, spending time with family and friends. Her beautiful smile and kind-hearted personality made her an inspiration to everyone she knew.
Survivors include her children, Catherine (William) Malvasio, Thomas (Rita) Schipper, Jeanette Hintz; sisters. Nancy (Jerry) Tadych. Suzie Meyer, Jane (Bob) Jaschop; grandchildren, Angela (Derek) Perkins, Jamie Malvasio, Ian Hintz and Zoe Hintz; great-grandchildren, Wesley Perkins and Everett Perkins.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Scott Schipper, and brother, Tom.
A private family service will be at Roselawn Memory Garden in Lake Geneva. Gunderson Funeral Home, Madison, served the family.

Dear Ian, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am sorry to hear her service is private, she had so many friends who would have loved to say their last goodbyes.
Sincerest Regards to the family. I still have the photo album of Scott that Judy made for me. She had a heart of gold.
