June Lorraine (Wallace) Menge, 90, died peacefully Feb. 13, 2013, surrounded by her family in Venice, Fla.
She was born March 11, 1922, to the late Clarence and Ethel (Higgins) Wallace in Stevens Point.
She was happily married for 56 years to her late husband Louis A. Menge. She was a teacher for many years before becoming a child psychologist and was inducted into the Educators Hall of Fame after her retirement.
Survivors include her children, Pauline (William) Mangold, Darlene (Terry) Volbrecht, Daniel (Debbie) Menge, Calvin (Catherine) Menge; grandchildren, Paula, John, Jennifer, Aryn, Jason and Destine; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Dwight Menge.
Visitation is Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., at Faith Chapel. The Rev. Kenny Volbrecht will officiate. Private burial will be in Lyons Quaker Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
