LeRoy “Lee” Harris, 79, Burlington, died April 29, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 4, 1934, to the late Roy and Alice (Wolff) in Racine, where he spent his early life. He graduated from St. Catherine’s High School.
On Oct. 2, 1954, he married Geraldine Metzen in Racine where they lived the first part of their marriage before moving to Burlington. They owned and operated the Triangle Drive-In for many years. She preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a sports fanatic and an avid supporter of any team from Wisconsin.
Survivors include his children, Donald (Judy) Harris, Bristol, Michael (DeNiene) Harris, San Diego, Terry (Penny) Harris, Burlington; grandchildren, Brett (Rebecca), Brandon (Valerie), Jeremiah (Sabrina), Kyle, Megan, Rachel, Brittani, Christopher, Shawn (Sara) and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Silvia, Vivian, Benjamin, Evianna and Dane; sisters, Carol and Joyce; sister-in-law, Rosemary.
Private family services were held. Schuette-Daniels Family Funeral Home, Burlington, served the family.
