Lloyd Fredricks, 86, Waterford, died Aug. 5, 2013, at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. He was born to the late Albert and Emma Fredricks on Oct. 30, 1926, in Milwaukee. He was a graduate of Bay View High School.
After high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He married the love of his life, Marilyn on June 7, 1952 in Milwaukee.
He was a 30 year resident of Waterford, where he and Marilyn raised Marilyn’s four siblings. He retired from CW Transport after 25 years with the company.
He had a passion for helping other people, was a Boy Scout leader for many years, and loved fishing and bowling.
Survivors include Marilyn’s siblings that he and Marilyn raised and were like children to them, Donald (Gloria) May, Gail May, Florine May, and Kenneth (Elizabeth) May; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Bernice May and Jean May.
He was further preceded in death by his wife Marilyn; brother, Gilbert Fredricks; sisters, Evelyn Vogel, Viola Johnson, Clarice Contardy, Eileen Pospishal; and brother-in-law, Daryl May.
Per Lloyd’s wishes there are no formal services planned. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, served the family.
