MARVIN C. POHL

Marvin C. Pohl, 76, Waterford, died peacefully on March 31, 2013, at his residence surrounded by loving family.

He was born to the late Raymond and Ruth (Reinholz) Pohl in Milwaukee. He married Faye M. Arndt on Oct. 19, 1955, in Waukegan, Ill.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from January 1954 to September 1957. He worked for the Milwaukee County Transit System for 30 years and retired in June 1997.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, skiing, playing sheepshead and vacationing with his special friend Jack. He enjoyed his friends at the Waterford/Rochester Seniors Club and he loved to go rummaging, spending time with his grandchildren and special dog, Goofy.

Survivors include his children, Victoria (Leonard) Mallak, Toni Pohl (boyfriend Eric), Shayne Pohl (girlfriend Michelle); grandchildren, Travis and Cody Meininger, Joshua Pohl and Corey Spiegelhoff; great-grandchildren, Collin, Aubriella, Bailley Ann, Kaylee Meininger; nieces and nephews, Scott Kreuzer, Erica Luce, Sara and Molly Arndt; many other nieces and nephews; in-laws, Gail and Tom Kreuzer, Karen (the late Gary) Arndt; special friend who was like a daughter, Andrea Phillips and her children Jordan Steffen, McKenna and Alexis Phillips; and Judy (the late Jack) Kranich.

A memorial service is Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the church. Integrity Funeral Services, Waterford, is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Waterford/Rochester Seniors Club are appreciated. Marvin will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
