Norma R. Muller, 90, Burlington, died peacefully May 31, 2013, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. She was born Sept. 1, 1922, to the late Willard and Loretta (Yahnke) Engelhardt in Kansasville.
Her early life was spent in Salem/Brass Ball Corners. She was a 1942 graduate of Burlington High School.
On July 25, 1942, she married the late Victor E. Muller at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Burlington. Following marriage they resided in Burlington then relocated to Kenosha County and then back to Burlington for the past 12 ½ years.
She was a very dedicated wife and mother. She was employed and retired from Foster Forbes. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed her life of farming with her husband. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wilmot and a Lady of the Knights of Columbus. She has now joined her beloved husband of 69 years for their eternal waltz.
Survivors include her children, Sandra (Dennis) Huff, Burlington, Joanne (Dave) Brown, Twin Lakes, Victor (Jodie) Muller, Kenosha, Ruth Tisdale, Okmulgee, Okla., Michael (Ivette) Muller, Lakeworth, Fla., Maria (Dave) Mitchell, Surprise, Ariz., Linda (Peter) Cleven, Marathon City; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed (Lorraine) Terry; nieces; nephews; and lifelong friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Henry Muller; brothers, Willard Engelhardt and Lloyd “Jeep” Terry.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wilmot. The Rev. Roger Savage will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
The family has suggested Memorials for Norma be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wilmot.
