Patsy R. Reed, 82, Burlington, died May 30, 2013, at Heritage at Deer Creek in New Berlin. She was born June 29, 1930, in Racine, to the late Ivan and Florence (Kaster) Tully. She spent her early life in Racine and was a graduate of Park High School.
On June 17, 1950, in Racine, she married Guerdon Reed Jr. Following marriage they resided in Racine and Waterford and had been residents of Burlington since 1955. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1996.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at Towne and Country Lanes. She was an avid bowler and loved to play slot machines.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Ahler, Burlington, Marcia Bucholtz, Greenfield, David (Carol) Reed, Mukwonago, Timothy Reed, Burlington; step-daughter, Cheryl (David) Crook, Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Denise (Alec) Cowan, Janice (Joshua) Cooper, Ashley (fiancé Michael Grube) Bucholtz, Daniel (Annalyse) Bucholtz, Brian (Pam) Reed, Kevin (Charles Harper) Reed; step-grandchildren, Kim, Karen and Michael; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jonathan Cowan, Emily Reed; her sister, Alice Horvath, Racine; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and great-grandson, Grant.
Visitation is Sunday, June 2, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, from 4-7 p.m. Private burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.
Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are suggested.
