ANNETTE S. CHASE

Easter Lily      Annette Sue ‘Meemaw’ (Eastep) Chase, 67, died peacefully, July 5, 2014. She was born on May 13, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn., to Jessie Lee and Maggie (Duggar) Eastep.

Sue was the loving wife, of 49 years to Deane Chase Jr. Together they cherished four children, Andrea (Steve) Maciosek, Carl, Celeste (Matt) Grossi and Jessica (Gary) Brey; proud Meemaw to eight grandchildren, Ashley, Zack, Miranda, Tony, Coty, Jacob, Emily and Matty and one great-grandson, Gavin; devoted sister to James Tommy, Clemon Ray and Jessie Eastep Jr.; many nieces, nephews, relatives, dear friends and her beloved dogs Venus and Abagail.

As Sue‘s life touched so many others across the miles there will be two Celebrations of Life available for attendance. The first will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Union Grove-Yorkville Fire Department with a gathering and meal to follow at Grove Bowl/Old Settler’s Inn, Union Grove. The second will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 16, at New Hope Community Lutheran Church, just outside of Northfield.

Private interment will be at a later date. As requested by the family, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Tennessee Children’s Home, Union Grove-Yorkville Fire & Rescue or Tomah VA Medical Center.

Cremation services were provided by Rago Brothers Funeral Home, Chicago.
