Michael J. Krome, 57, Kenosha, died of natural causes April 27, 2016, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 20, 1958, to Ronald and Norine (Werner) Krome. He was a 1976 graduate of Bradford High School.
On Sept. 3, 1983, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he married Michelle DiPalma.
At the time of his death, he was employed with Amazon. He previously was employed as a mechanic with Lynch Chevrolet in Burlington for over 26 years.
He was an avid Star Wars fan, and a movie and conspiracy theory buff. He was a chess enthusiast and enjoyed collecting coins, bike riding; watching local bike races and working on cars, especially his children’s. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include his daughters, Cassondra Krome of Plano, Ill., and Heather Krome of Kenosha; his twin sons, Vincent Krome of Kenosha and Broderick Krome of Laramie, Wyo.; his mother, Norine Krome of Queen Creek, Ariz.; his sister, Linda (Gary) Kupper of Racine; his nephews, David Krome of Racine and Ryan (Travienna) Kupper of Brookfield, and his former wife, Michelle (Guillermo) Krome-Vargas.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his uncle, Vincent ‘Vin’ Krome.
Funeral services are Saturday, May 7, at 1 p.m., at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha. Visitation is May 7, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances would be appreciated.
