Carole A. May, 82 of Lake Geneva, and formerly of Lyons, passed into eternal life on Friday June 9, 2017 at her residence.
She was born December 15, 1934, in Burlington, to the late Edward and Cecelia (Eisenbart) Howe. She married the late Robert H. May on September 12, 1959, in Lyons, and was a longtime member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Carole was a loving mother to Terri (Scott) Goldschmidt of East Troy and Janice (Peter) Beckmann of Batavia, Ill.; a proud grandma to Jessi (Mike) Topczewski, Nicole (Ryan) Goldschmidt, Alex, Jared and Luke Beckmann; and great-grandma to Richard and Anna Topczewski. She was sister of Bob (Kathy) Howe, Mary Vanasse and Barb (Jack) Rowe and sister-in-law of Mike (Dorothy) May. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 13 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Lake Geneva, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Bishop Jim Schuerman officiating. Entombment St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
