Susan A. (nee Voss) Stang, age 70, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully in Franklin on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. She was born on Jan. 26, 1949 in Burlington where she was raised.
Susan was a long time teacher at Alverno College and Marquette University. She loved to shop, HGTV, spending time with her friends, going out to eat, especially at the Colony House, and enjoyed a glass of red Cabernet Sauvignon.
Susan is survived by Thomas, her dear husband of 47 years; her son Logan; mother Betty Voss; sister Linda (Glen) Jones; and brother Jeff (Linda) Voss. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Reiman Cancer Center for working so diligently to improve Susan’s quality of life over the last five years. If desired, memorials appreciated to Reiman Cancer Center in Susan’s memory.
Visitation will be held at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel at 4747 S. 60th St. in Greenfield on Monday, Mar. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be on Tuesday, Mar. 5 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd., from 10 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Private interment.
