Daniel Joseph Stachowiak, 82, of Town of Waterford Tichigan Lake area, passed away Nov. 25, 2021, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Daniel was born in Milwaukee on July 22, 1939, to Joseph and Dorothea (nee Kurtz) Stachowiak. After completing school, he proudly served his country for four years in the United States Army. Upon his return, he married Mary Bylewski on April 30, 1974. Daniel was retired from Waukesha Dresser after 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors; Fishing, hunting, and gardening. A retired member of Green Valley Sportsman Club, he loved to spend time on the Tichigan waters and Fox River where he was a Water Patrol Officer for the Town of Waterford for five years. He also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Mary; children, Dan Stachowiak Jr., Roxane (Kim) Adams, Danny (Erin) Rausch, Dawn (Jeff) Hoppe, Michelle (Todd) Williams and Jason Stachowiak; grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Dylan, Kelsey, Jack, Colton, Ruby, Jonathan, Joshua, Nicholas, Hope and Michael; great grandchildren, Gavin, Cory, Jaeden, Maximilian, Mila, Johnny, Waylon, Madelynn, Johanna, Forrest, Jenavieve, Theodore, Delilah, Ryan, Landon and Reyna; and other relatives and friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, sister Maryanne, brother James and great-grandson Parker.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee are suggested.
