Dorothy M. Larson, 72, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at Alliance Hospice House in Kenosha.
Dorothy was born in Spring Prairie on May 21, 1949, to Charles and Grace (nee Enright) Davis. Her early life was spent in Burlington. On Feb. 16, 1998, she was united in marriage to Robert Larson in Las Vegas. Following marriage, they made Burlington their home.
Dorothy worked as a bartender for Log Cabin, Beach View and Riverside. She was a valid sponsor of St. Joseph Indian School. She loved Coke-A-Cola memorabilia, camping, traveling, Indian artifacts and spending time with her friends and family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Patrick (Joy) Davis, Paul (Paula) Fletcher, Penny (Scott) Wallace, Angie (Troy) Ketterhagen, Nickie (Eric) Jones, Carrie (Kyle) Oldenburg, Felicia (Nathan) Longo and Hank Larson; 24 grandchildren; and sister, Diane (Donald) Chaulklin. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Jade Davis.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Luke’s Oncology of WI and Hospice Alliance, for their care and compassion during this time. A special thank you to Dr. Shamsuddin Virani for taking extraordinary care of Dorothy through her cancer treatments.
