Elizabeth J. Gorman, 85, of Sussex, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 at her home.
Betty was born in Racine on July 24, 1936, to Alex and Julia (nee Bednyak) Furuglyas. Her early life was spent in Franksville. On Aug. 8, 1959 in Racine, she was united in marriage to Eugene Gorman. Following marriage, they resided in Racine before moving to Kansasville in 1962. She was a Kansasville resident for 27 years.
Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, watching the Packers and spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her children, Tim (Deb) Gorman of Burlington, Susan Snyder of Sussex, Daniel Gorman of Menomonee Falls and John (Katie) Gorman of Sussex; grandchildren, Deanna (Nick) Didzun, Emmett (Becca Fluger) Gorman, Melaina Gorman and John “JT” Gorman; siblings, Mike (Faye) Furuglyas. Richard (Pat) Furuglyas, Julie (Ron) Miskulin, Mary (Bobby) Taylor and Nancy (Tony) Podorski; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Alex, George, Frank and Jim.
Services for Betty will be private.
