Ronald J. Marifke, 80, passed away Oct. 13, 2021, at Waterford Senior Living Facility.
Ronald was born April 21, 1942, to Edward and Marie Marifke in the town of Lake, which later became part of Milwaukee. He graduated from Norte Dame High School in Milwaukee and moved to Wind Lake in 1960. He joined the National Guard in September of 1964 and was honorably discharged in November of 1969.
Ron worked as a wire extruder for Amco Metal, the Extrusion Mill, and Wisconsin Wire; from which he retired. He loved sports and outdoor activities. He was on bowling team in Wind Lake for many years, attended numerous trap shoot competitions with his brother Robert and friends, and he loved to hunt. He also liked to cook.
Ron will be dearly missed by his brothers Robert (Lynn) Marifke and Gerard (Mary Ellen) Marifke; his nephews Tyler and Derek; as well as a great niece and nephew.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edward Jr. and sister in-law Alexandra.
Ron will be laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery, 2405 W. Forest Home Ave, Milwaukee. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday Oct. 25, 2021 at 1 p.m.
