RUTH LOUISE HART

Ruth Louise Hart, 92, of Burlington, and formerly Waterford and Florida, passed away peacefully at her residence with her loving family by her side on Oct. 31, 2021.

Ruth was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 23, 1929, to Christ and Louise (nee Goeckermann) Kamholz. She grew up and was educated in the West Allis area and after graduating High School, met the love of her life, Mr. Clifford Hart, while out with friends. They were married in Waterford at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Jan. 31, 1948. They eventually settled in Waterford and raised their two boys. Ruth was very involved with her children and their school. She was a long time employee of the First Wisconsin Bank in Milwaukee.

In her spare time Ruth liked working and volunteering at her church in Wisconsin and later in Florida. She enjoyed camping for many years at the Bark River Campground in Jefferson, where they kept a permanent campsite near relatives and friends. After they retired, they would use it as their summer “snowbird” residence and they would enjoy winters in Florida. She enjoyed bowling, sheepshead, pinochle and bingo. Ruth had a deep love for her family. She will be dearly missed.

Ruth is survived by her son Jim (Marilyn); son-in-law Paul Gajda; grandchildren, Lisa (Dan) Russell, Erin (Joe) Gutsmiedl, and Andy and Kerry (Matt) Bienemen; great grandchildren, Sam (Joe) Stephenson, Zach Kirchner, Ryan and Adam Bieneman and Max Gutsmiedl; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, wonderful parents, two sisters, one brother and son Dennis.

Ruth’s family would like to send a special heart warming thank you to the Staff at Pine Brooke Point Assisted Living Facility and the caregivers from Aurora at Home Hospice for the loving care of their Mom/Grandmother in her time of need.

A small family service will be held in the near future. Mealy Funeral Home is assisting the family. For on-line condolences or updates on Ruth’s service, visit www.mealyfuneralhome.com.
