William J. Raboine, 68, of Burlington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at Froedtert South Hospital in Kenosha.
William was born in Burlington, on April 19, 1953, to Royal and Mary (nee Gurbal) Raboine. His early life was spent in Kansasville on the family farm. He graduated from St. Mary High School, Class of 1971. On May 13, 1978 in Burlington, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan (nee Olson). After marriage, they built their cherished home together in Burlington where they raised their two daughters.
Humble, honest, gentle, deep, creative… a man of so many talents. He had a great appreciation for the outdoors and found the beauty in nature and all that surrounded him. William was an excellent fisherman and sportsman and had an eye for precision, detail and art. He enjoyed working with his hands as a skilled craftsman, carpenter and winemaker.
William is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Rachel (Jeremy) Pease and Kristen (Anthony) LaFranzo; granddaughters, Avalynn, Abigail, Alexis, Alivia, Fiona and Georgia; siblings, Robert Raboine, John (Julianne) Raboine, Albert (Marilyn) Raboine and Marilyn Klingbeil; sister-in-law, Jean Raboine; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Raboine, sister Lois Raboine and sister-in-law Roselyn Raboine.
The family would like to thank the medical staff of Froedtert South Hospital for their care and compassion during this time.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Church in Burlington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
