Ann E. (nee Wiseman) Large, 61, of Fort Myers, Florida, and formerly Ironton, earned her wings on June 11, 2022, after a battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in Burlington, surrounded by family.
Ann was born Dec. 30, 1960. She grew up in the Wind Lake area and started her family early in life. She had both her girls before the young age of 20 years old. Even with all the challenges of being a young mother, she earned her college degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in computer science. As a beautiful, brilliant young woman she met the man of her dreams, and moved her new family to Ironton. On Feb. 28, 1992, she was married to Raymond Large. Together they made a beautiful home and raised both girls.
Ann worked at Gerber Inc. as a computer programmer for many years. She and Ray enjoyed spending time traveling together, riding motorcycle, spending endless hours in the back yard swimming pool, and time with family was always important. Ann was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest.
Ann is survived by her daughters Jenny Ferge and Chrystal (Thomas) Herrewig; granddaughters Meghan, Kayla and Hailey; sisters Lynn (Dan) Krueger and Leslie Pallek; and wonderful friend Timothy Dean.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Large, father Donald Wiseman, mother Shirley Wiseman, brother Scott Wiseman, and brother-in-law Steven Pallek.
Burial will take place on Aug. 5, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, 108 McHenry St., Burlington, followed by a luncheon at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, from 3 to 5 p.m.
