Bonnie L. Worny, 80, passed from this life into eternal life on April 17, 2022 at Westridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Bonnie was born March 4, 1942 in Milwaukee to George and Mary (nee Repaja) Barry. She graduated from Waterford High School Class of 1960.
Bonnie married Dennis L. Worny on May 29, 1965 in Waterford. They lived in Franksville until moving to Milwaukee in 1993. In 2020, Bonnie moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to be closer to family. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Faith Community church for over 50 years.
Bonnie is survived by siblings, George (Nancy) Barry of Burlington, Barbara McCoy of Hazleton, Iowa, Susan (James) Grajek of Elkhorn and Gary (Nancy) Barry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and nieces and nephews, Geoffrey (Sue) Barry of Burlington, Brian (Jennifer) Barry of Burlington, Rachel (Wesley) Bowers of Independence, Iowa, James Jr. (Krista) Grajek of Horicon, Lisa Denius of Elkhorn, Christopher (Amanda) Barry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Kyle Barry of Ames, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Barry; her brother, Glenn Barry, and her beloved husband Dennis Worny.
Visitation at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd., Hales Corners, will be on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Wood National Cemetery.
