Bruce A. Kozelou, 78, of Lyons, passed away peacefully Friday, July 1, 2022 at Alliance Hospice in Kenosha.
Bruce was born on May 22, 1944 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Andrew and Lucille Frahm Kozelou. He grew up and lived most of his life in Burlington. He loved to camp, fish and deer hunt.
A construction worker for many years, Bruce later became a welder for Stuart Tank of Elkhorn from where he retired.
On July 7, 1982, Bruce married Shirley Klumb Templeman of Port Washington in Elkhorn. For many years they lived in Lyons, volunteering for the Lyons Fire Department, he as a firefighter and she as an EMT.
Since retirement, Bruce and Shirley enjoyed their place near Palmyra.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children Bruce Jr. (Cindy) Kozelou of Burlington and Barbara Jobidon of Oak Creek; Shirley’s children Debra (Tony) Federspiel of South Milwaukee and Pamela (Kevin) Pankinon of Verona; grandchildren Brooke, Robert, Jennifer, Josh, Nicole and Dominique; great grandchildren Cayden, Connor and Hudson; his brother Andrew Kozelou of Burlington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bruce was preceded by his sister Delana Kozelou.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Poole Funeral Home, 203 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, with services at 6 p.m. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.
