George M. Knudtson Jr., 92, of Union Grove, peacefully passed away at his residence on May 20, 2022.
George was drafted in Korea and retired as a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserves after 20 years of service. He was an educator with Racine Unified Schools for 32 years.
George is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Halstead-Knudtson; children, Susan Singh, Linda Knudtson, Connie Knudtson, Keith Knudtson, Beth Knudtson, Mark Knudtson, Cheryl Knudtson and Brian (Michelle) Knudtson; stepchildren, Teresa (David) Radandt and Donald (Shelly) Johnsen; and many other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his children, Craig (Melissa) Knudtson and Dean Knudtson.
Visitation will be held on May 28, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon at Raymond United Church of Christ with a service to immediately follow. Private burial will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Raymond United Church of Christ or the Graham Public Library.
