Jeffrey R. Tobin, 65, formerly of Tichigan, passed away unexpectedly in January in Sarasota, Fla. Born the third of five children to Anthony and Jean Tobin, Jeff was a Waterford High School graduate, talented baseball player, and mason by trade like his dad. In 1983 he married Carole Bussler, and was a great stepdad to Carole’s four sons, Steve, Jim, Kenny and Jonathan. In 2002, he and Carole decided to relocate to sunny Florida where he eventually ended up working for the City of Sarasota, and though he always kept tabs on what was going on with family and friends in Wisconsin, he never strayed far from Sarasota’s warm weather and beaches of Siesta Key.
Jeff is survived by his wife Carole, his four stepsons, sister Sue (Greg) DeMent, sister Toni Tobin, brother Ken (Boots), nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and sister Debbie.
